Big Race Tips – Results update (Sept’19)
Nick Hardman started sharing his Big Race Tips during the final week of 2014 and got off to a flyer with a 1-2 in the King George Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.
The next 4 years saw profits as follows:-
2015 +403.75pts (+23.2% ROI)
2016 +851.53pts (+31.2% ROI)
2017 +335.86pts (+11.6% ROI)
2018 +209.91pts (+6.8% ROI)
It was always going to be a challenge to continue at those levels let alone reach the dizzy heights of the 2016 campaign, and that was borne out by the start to 2019 which involved a bit of a roller coaster ride with a mix of winning and losing months.
As Royal Ascot loomed, in June, Nick undertook a detailed review of his selection processes and decided to rein in the number of bets to focus on a tighter core of races where there were stronger trends to work with.
The net result of the subsequent period since the changes were implemented has seen a positive upturn in fortune with +145pts profit banked in approximately one month. Unfortunately September proved to be more challenging and a good chunk of those gains were lost.
The other significant change is Nick has moved to releasing the selections early doors on a Saturday morning so he can take into the mix the more settled markets. This will also have an additional benefit of a better level of liquidity on the exchanges which will help those of you with bookmaker restriction issues.
We suggest a betting bank of 200pts be set aside and the selections will be staked with 2pts, either 2 points Win or 1pt Each-Way where stated. The prices quoted will be those prevailing at the time when the final tips were settled on.
To maximise the profit opportunity from the Big Race Tips it is advisable, if you haven´t already, to open new accounts with the “best odds guaranteed” bookmakers as this will provide the best mix of prices and additional place terms.
